Free transmission diagnostic in Denver.
Every vehicle that comes into Wizard Transmission gets a free 27-point inspection and diagnostic scan before any repair is quoted. It takes about three to four hours. If you decide not to go ahead, you pick the vehicle up at no charge.

How the 27-point diagnostic works.
Cars are complicated, and a good diagnostic can save hundreds or even thousands in repairs you didn't need. It's always the right place to start a major repair.
Computer scan
A scan tool reads the transmission's electrical system.
Fluid check
Level and condition of the transmission fluid.
Road test
A technician drives it to reproduce the problem.
On the lift
The pan comes down, or the inspection plug comes out.

Transmission fluid and filter service.
Service with synthetic transmission fluid runs $125 to $275, depending on the vehicle.
Fluid is to a transmission what blood is to a body. It lubricates thousands of moving parts and carries heat away. Old fluid loses that ability and carries contamination with it.
Before winter is a good time. Rocking a car forward and back to get it out of a snowbank is very hard on a transmission, and fresh fluid helps it survive that.
Bring it in, or have it towed in.
Call ahead and we'll plan for your vehicle. The diagnostic is free, and nothing gets fixed until you say so.
